With Clinical decision support (CDS) turned on, Dentrix Ascend shows any associated potential treatment for a selected condition during the charting of a quick exam to help you quickly treatment plan procedures for conditions that you discover. During the charting of a quick exam, when you select a condition, the associated procedures appear in alphabetical order at the top of the Treatment Plan list.
Notes:
Potential treatment appears during a quick exam only if you chart a condition and if that condition has associated procedures or multi-codes. Dentrix Ascend assigns procedures to many conditions by default, but you can customise the conditions as needed.
Turning CDS on or off affects everyone in your organisation.
