You can edit the options of a recall type (except for the name of the type if the type is attached to any patient's record) as needed. Changing a recall type that is attached to any patient's record does not affect the recall of any patients who already have that recall type attached to their records.
To edit a recall type
How to get there
On the Settings menu, under Patient Care, click (or tap) Recall.
The Recall Setup page opens.

Note: Primary recall types are bold for quick identification.
The options for editing the recall type become available.
If the type is not attached to any patient's record, change a name for the recall type. Set up the other options, such as the interval and associated procedures, as needed.

If you associate a procedure with this recall type, when you complete an appointment for the specified procedure, and if the recall type is not already attached to the record of the patient for whom the appointment was scheduled, a message will appear and allow you to choose whether or not you want to attach recall to the patient's record.
