Inactivating surgeries

You can inactivate surgeries, which correspond to columns on your schedule, if those surgeries do not have any future appointments scheduled in them. An inactive surgery does not show on the schedule and is unavailable as a view option for the schedule.

To inactivate an operatory

How to get there

If you are not already viewing the correct location, select it on the Location menu.
On the Settings menu, under Location, click (or tap) Surgeries.
The Surgeries page opens.

On a location's Surgeries page, select a surgery.
The options for editing the surgery become available.
Tip: You cannot inactivate a surgery that has future appointments and/or events scheduled in it. If this surgery has appointments scheduled in it, a message in a yellow box appears. To view a list of those appointments and any events that may also be scheduled in the surgery, click (or tap) the yellow box.
Under Status, clear the Active check box. This option is available only if there are no future appointments scheduled in this surgery.
