You can edit the details of a third party that was entered into Dentrix Ascend.
How to get there
On the Home menu, under Third-Parties, click (or tap) Third-Parties.
The Third-Parties page opens.
To update a third party
On the Third-Parties page, select a third party.
Tip: To help you locate a third party quickly, in the Filter box, enter part or all of a third party's name to filter the third party list so that it displays only those third parties that match what you enter.
The options for editing the third party's information become available.
Update the third-party information, such as the phone or fax number, as needed.
Set up the following options:
Phone number - The third party's main contact phone number and extension (if applicable).
Fax number - A fax number for the third party.
Website - The third party's website address. Do not include "http://" or "https://" at the beginning of the website address.
Available Procedures - To specify which procedures are available for posting to the records of patients who are covered by this third party (when the "Third-Party procedures" procedure filter is selected during posting), click this button.
Note: You cannot change the name of the third party.
Click (or tap) Save.
