You can quickly complete an NHS claim for a patient's course of treatment. Completing the claim includes, as applicable, completing planned treatment on the claim, setting the completion date of the claim to today, creating an invoice for the NHS patient charge and the procedures on the claim, and saving the claim.
To complete an NHS claim
How to get there
Use the Patient Search box to access a patient's record.
Notes:
If the last patient record you accessed since you last logged on is the correct patient's record, you do not need to re-enter the patient's name in the Patient Search box.
You can include inactive patients in the search results by setting the Include inactive patients switch to On.
On the Patient menu, under Clinical, click (or tap) Chart.
The patient's clinical record opens with the Chart tab selected.

Click (or tap) the NHS Claims tab.
The NHS claims, if any exist, for the patient appear.
How to get there
On the Home menu, under NHS, click (or tap) Claims Central.
The NHS Claims Central page opens.
Select a claim with an Incomplete status on one of the following pages:
Tip: To help you quickly locate a claim, you can filter the list of claims by Performer and Status.
The NHS Claim dialogue box appears.
Make any necessary changes to the claim details.
Click (or tap) the Save, Complete & Invoice All link at the top of the dialogue box.
Click (or tap) Cancel to close the dialogue box.
The claim now has a Ready status, so you can send the claim.
