You can post a payment for an NHS patient charge that gets posted to a patient's record when an NHS claim has been created and completed.
To post a patient payment for an NHS charge
How to get there
Use the Patient Search box to access a patient's record.
Notes:
If the last patient record you accessed since you last logged on is the correct patient's record, you do not need to re-enter the patient's name in the Patient Search box.
You can include inactive patients in the search results by setting the Include inactive patients switch to On.
Do one of the following:
On the Patient menu, under Financial, click (or tap) Ledger.
The patient's Ledger page opens.
On a patient's Ledger page, the NHS patient charge for an NHS claim appears if the patient has an amount to pay for the corresponding treatment.
Do one of the following:

Click (or tap) Patient Walkout. The Patient Walkout dialogue box appears. Click (or tap) the Payment tab.
Click (or tap) Payment. The Enter Payment dialogue box appears.

Set up the details of the payment, applying the Amount to only the NHS Patient Charge.

Click (or tap) Save Payment or Save.
