This product update allows NHS practices to take payment for completed NHS procedures. The new functionality includes the ability to generate an invoice for completed procedures within an NHS claim, and also the functionality to customise the charge in the case of exemptions, partial remission, and Regulation 11 Appliance Replacement.

When you have charted your procedures, you can create and save the claim and then create invoices for completed procedures from within the claim. If your NHS treatment is spread across multiple appointments, each time a procedure has been completed, you can collect payment for the difference between the bands, so the patient is always paying up until they have paid the full amount for the entire treatment.
Customising an NHS Claim Charge
If you are completing a regulation 11 appliance replacement, or your patient has an exemption, you can customise the NHS Claim value accordingly.
This gives you complete ownership of what you can charge your patient, and rectify if you have made an error with the treatment charge. The customise functionality will cancel any previous invoices, so if you have found that a patient is exempt after creating an invoice and receiving payment, you can revert this and set the charge to £0
